He lifted up
the tent cover to Feng Buping’s tent and looked inside, the men in there were
sound asleep.
“Uncle Feng,
the sun is shining on your butt already!” giggled Qiu Luo as he patted on Feng
Buping’s shoulder. Seeing that Feng Buping didn’t stir at all, he patted him a
few more times harder, but still no response.
“Oh, yeah?”
Qiu Luo pinched Feng Buping’s nose and then covered up his mouth.
Feng
Buping’s face immediately flickered between red and white and suddenly his eyes
opened up. He sat up and gasped for air.
“Xiao Luo,
how come you are here? Eh, why is your neck swollen?”
“I am fine,
I am fine. I fell this morning….” Laughed Qui Luo, embarrassed, “Uncle, the sun
is almost going down already, I thought you have grounds to cover?”
“WHAT?!”
Feng Buping was shocked, he had always woken up before the sun was up, why was
he in such a deep sleep today?
He rocked
his companions by his side, sure enough it was quite difficult to wake them.
“Shit, a
sleep spell was casted on us!” said Feng Buping with a solemn look, “Only high
level mystical beasts were capable of doing that!”
Qiu Luo had
a pretty good idea, that was the deed of that phoenix!
“Lucky that
didn’t work on you, else we’d all be dead. We can’t stay here any longer, we
need to pack up and leave!” Feng Buping quickly splattered water on his
companions and woke them all up, then everybody hurried to pack up and headed
on their way.
Qiu Luo
tailed the rest of the group. Every step he took irritated his injuries and it
so painful he had tears streaming down his face, “That damn pheonix. I am okay
with her taking advantage of me, but did she have to be so violent? Sigh,
wouldn’t it be nice if there’s someone here with healing power?”
A
gentle-looking green light suddenly appeared on his body. Basking in the green
light, the bruises on his body lessened progressively and finally disappeared
all together!
“What just
happened?” asked Qiu Luo, completely startled. Did that green light appeared
when he thought about it? He tried again to think about healing power. Sure
enough, the green light appeared again!
Perhaps it
was because his injuries were already all gone, the green light disappeared
quickly.
“Hmm, I
wonder if I can use this on others?” wondered Qiu Luo and decided to find out
right away. He picked a small bug from a leave on a tree on the side of the
road and put it in the middle of his palm. Then with a small twig he poked the
bug on its round tummy. The bug immediately started rolling around in his palm
and green fluid leaked out from the puncture wound on its stomach.
Qui Luo thought
about it and a the little bug was immediately surrounded by a rich green color.
The bug stopped struggling right away and the would on it’s stomach was closing
up at a visible speed.
“I did it!”
Qiu Luo was emotional. He had no idea whether the green light has to do with
the Xuanyuan cleaver or Silver Wind, but he knew that he had just gained another
awesome life-saving skill.
“I wonder if
it can cure someone with their heads cut off….” Thought Qiu Luo for a brief
second…
Suddenly
there were chaos among the caravan in front of him. Qiu Luo looked up and
everybody stopped on their way and one by one they kneeled down and bowed to
the sky, and the sun in the sky was blocked by some unknown object.
A enormously
large silver phoenix flew above Mount Chongxi elegantly. The feathers on its
magnificent tail sparkled gorgeously under the sun….
